About Us

We are Mathew Booe and Jackie Booe. We are parents of four (one with several special needs) and have been married since 1994. Mathew is a martial arts instructor, grad student, and an avid language lover and learner. He taught himself and his daughter German to conversational fluency and with this site plans to add many more languages. He invites you to join the journey! Jackie is an ESL certified teacher with an Ed. S. degree in teaching English as a second language. In total she has three degrees in the field of education, been department chair of several grade levels, and interim principal in Los Angeles.
